The Television Thief: Leonard Gribble / Tom Kerr PUZZLE


I found this quaint series and will post a few over the next few weeks. Tom Kerr is known in British comics of the 50s 60s and 70s. Steve Holland posted a series of his art for Clark’s Commando shoes. Check out Steve’s interesting blog. Kerr’s art is fairly easy to spot as his faces are very distinctive. His art often contains fedoras of the era and his figures are normally very lean. The series title “Superintendent Slade’s Case-book” is written by Leonard Gribble who was a prolific artist of the last century as shown in this bibliography.
